Clear ‘n’ Clean Long Life Algicide
Clear’n’Clean will give you crystal clean algae free pool water for periods of up to six months, even while you are on holiday, or when the pool is not in use. During these periods chlorine is not needed.
Clear’n’clean is not formulated to destroy pathogenic bacteria, therefore, maintain your chlorine level when the pool is in use
Summer Start-up: – With the filter system running, bring the pH to 7.2, then super shock chlorine. Allow chlorine to fully dissolve. Follow this by adding the recommended level of Clear’n’clean longer life algaecide, i.e. 1 litre per 6,500 gallons – 29,000 litres. You may swim after 30 minutes. It is important that you maintain the pH at 7.2-7.6.
Winter Close Down: – With the filter system running bring the pH to 7.2, then super shock with chlorine. Allow chlorine to dissolve. Follow this by adding the recommended level of Clear’n’ Clean longer life algaecide, i.e. 1 litre per 6,500 gallons -29,000 litres. Continue to filter pool water for a minimum of 8 hours. Periodically check the pH 7.2-7.6
If the pool has a build-up of calcium on the walls generally caused by an incorrect pH, this ideally should be removed before adding Clear’n’Clean. Your pool engineer will advise you.
